Overview
A cloud service portal of the future for software powering the world's largest trading systems.
I designed a forward-looking vision for Nasdaq Cloud, a comprehensive portal for cloud service offerings that would enable Nasdaq's 'Markets Everywhere' strategy. The project encompassed both a marketing site and product dashboard, showcasing Nasdaq's expansive technology suite for powering global trading systems. The marketing site presented cloud offerings as individual products that clients could use to establish their own markets, with documentation strategically divided into three tiers: sample marketplaces providing immediately forkable sandboxes, soft-documentation with live code demos for specific tasks, and hard documentation offering reference guides with context-aware features like keyboard shortcuts and API keys for logged-in users. The cloud dashboard served as a central hub for users to manage projects and integrate services from the cloud suite, featuring an integrated service marketplace for easy product addition. I created a design system and set of views for the dashboard in Figma. Based on user research, I designed project pages with a tab-divided structure to minimize hierarchy levels within managed projects.
